//      COMMENTARY.   if i must confess, i’d always seen something “morrison-esque” about FILM ! ERIC. a mystique, a poetry, whatever you wish to call it.  it was there.  now, after becoming more interested in the doors ( unrelated to the crow ) & after years of being a fan of the film, i’ve come to the conclusion that this MYSTIQUE eric had ( while alive ) was perhaps brandon’s doing. his take on what eric’s “musician persona” was. then, after looking through promotional photo sessions, then coming across brandon’s personal photographs online ( as most things you don’t care to see but the internet is a vast, unavoidable, limitless expanse ), i am only reassured that my suspicions were correct. of course, to me, even his death scene echoed the lizard king. 

                    & this is why, on this blog, eric likes the doors.
